Two Carthaginian sisters, Lea and Esther, are bought as slave girls by Roman tribune Marcus Valerius, who gives them as a present to proud Julia Martia, daughter of the proconsul. Ambitious, greedy and vindictive, Julia is betrothed to the cynical Flavius Metellus, a member of the Senate, but in fact she is in love with Marcus. However, he prefers the simple sweetness of Lea, which drives Julia to cruelty and revenge. The proconsul is murdered by Flavius Metellus who becomes his successor. Believing the Christians were responsible for her father's death, Julia, now the new proconsul's wife, orders the persecutions to begin. Marcus is ordered to carry out the campaign, but faced with the courage and faith of the Christians he realizes they are innocent. He is arrested after being betrayed by a shepherd and joins the two sisters in the dungeons. Lea is tortured and blinded after refusing to divulge the hiding place of the remaining Christians. Marcus and the others are sentenced to death, but his men free him in time to prevent the Christians being burned alive. In the bloody battle that follows Julia and her husband are killed and the Christians are liberated. Marcus, now also a Christian, is proclaimed the new proconsul and takes Lea as his wife. Synopsis: In the kingdom of Aristea spadroneggia Vadio, military tribuno Roman, that feared to eliminate the king Krontal sposandone the daughter Assuer and imponendo his will to the population is with its mercenaries that with the Kiva, a damned sect of which is allied. I mark, a courageous Roman centurione, itself oppone to the situation. Imprisoned and compelled to fight against you are strong gladiatori, finds in them of the courageous allies. The seven kidnap Assuer, but end captured of the Kiva. In them help arrives the dwarf Golia that liberates them from the prison. So our heroes can destroy the town sotterranea of the sect; therefore, helped from the prisoners freed, invade the real palace. In the final duel Mark kills the fierce Vadio.

Synopsis: Sandar Khan (Kirk Morris) and his crew kidnap Princess Samira from an evil empire as they want a ransom from her father the King. After an ambush in a forest by the King's soldiers, every one of Sandar Khan's men (except his friend Kublai) are killed (via quick-lime and water). Sandar Khan tells his villagers to burn everything and move out, which they do and hide in a cave from the Tartars. Sandar Khan gets a bit infatuated with Samira, which makes the brunette Malina (Moira Orfei) jealous. Samira nurses a sick child and Sandar Khan snogs her as a thank you - Malina sees this and is furious, "you shameless hussy" she calls her before trying to whip her ass. Sandar Khan breaks up the fight (shame) and throws poor Malina out of the camp for being a 'contemptible wretch'. The new lovers decide it's best if Samira goes back to her father as they want to get married...
Back with the King, Samira tells him that Sandar Khan is a good guy who wants peace and an alliance between the clans and also that she wants to marry him. He's having none of this and says she must marry Altan Khan (Daniele Vargas), a truly evil man, so she's taken to his palace. There, she has some hand-maidens who understand how unhappy she is, but prepare her for the wedding. Sandar Khan and Kublai get into the palace grounds/city via disguise...
Malina arrives (looking finer than ever) to inform Altan Khan that Sandar Khan and Kublai have arrived through the city gates, and points them out at a bar (this is done after the ubiquitous Peplum dance, you know what I mean, a female throws her legs around while dancing alluringly with a piece of silk!). Fight scene, Sandar Khan surrenders, (his friend escapes) and is taken to the palace, where he is forced to wrestle two guys to win his life. He does this but is sent to work as a slave in a mill. Meanwhile Altan Khan's army have started to wreak violence and destruction among the surrounding villages and the kingdom of Samira's father. Kublai manages to break Sandar Khan out along with the prisoners...
Altan Khan and his army break into the King's city. Sandar Khan and Kublai fight them. The king gets hit by an arrow. Kublai catches Malina and tells his posse that she was the traitor - so they fire arrows at her and she dies with three stuck in her chest (brilliant death scene!). Sandar Khan challenges Altan Khan to a duel, and before you can say Zeus they both have enormous spiked tree trunks strapped to their backs (Kirk is topless again, showing his muscles). Of course Sandar Khan wins. The king lies dying and tells our hero how sorry he is and gives him the seat of the throne (how nice). Samira and her man walk out to a joyous crowd, who are chanting "long live Sandar Khan". The End (thank goodness, I don't think I could type another Altan Khan or Sandar Khan to save my life).
What's to recommend? Well, you do get to see Kirk Morris with bleached hair, the hairdresser should have left the peroxide on longer though or at least given him a toner to stop it looking so brassy. Malina, who's played by Moira Orfei is so much better looking than the Princess, but as with all dark-haired ladies of the Peplum film, she has to die! written by: James (trainsmash

Synopsis: This epic is set during Rome's attack on ancient Greece, both the Roman and Carthaginian armies are battling for possession of Syracuse. The experience affects her so deeply that she loses her memory. She then marries a Roman dignitary. Archimedes also marries and many years pass. She sees him too and instantly regains her memory, but to spare her son unnecessary grief, she does not tell her son. Later the Romans renege and again attack Syracuse. This time, the Roman fleet is destroyed and so are the respective spouses of the star-crossed lovers. Finally freed of their constraints the two marry, but for the sake of their son, they still restrain from telling him the truth about his father.

Synopsis: Originally titled Spartaco, Sins of Rome is a highly suspect retelling of the 1st-century B.C. slave revolt which rocked the Roman Empire to its foundations. To enhance the film's box-office appeal, the scriptwriters contrive to bestow upon Spartacus two leading ladies: Sabina (Gianna Maria Canale), the sensuous daughter of a Roman aristocrat, and Sabina's personal slave Amitys (played by ballerina Ludmilla Tcherina). There's plenty of gladiatorial combat, exciting battle scenes and out-of-synch English dubbing. Sins of Rome was distributed in the U.S. by RKO Radio Pictures.

Synopsis: Spartacus, a Thracian slave, refuses to allow himself to become the animal the Roman civilization would have him be. His love for Varinia, a slave girl, coupled with his revulsion at the crushing treatment and callous murders of his fellow slaves, ignite in his breast a passion for freedom. They escape and joined by more runaways, and swell to become a vast army. Contrasted with their impassioned plans for open rebellion are the cool, calculating minds of their Roman adversaries Crassus, Grachus and Batiatus. To Rome, a poorly equipped army of slaves are no more threatening than the invasion of insects which attack the city during the hot, humid seasons. The slaves' cries for freedom and their challenge will be but a more diversion from the musty affairs of state. And so, in a chilling engagement, the superior military might of Rome proceeds to crush the army of Spartacus.

Synopsis: An unforgettable spectacle of marvels and miracles. See masses of the faithful crucified on the flaming hills. See the decadent splendor of the Roman orgies. See the wild chariot race of the Roman destroyers. See the noble captive beauties sold on the slave block. Tarsus, in the Roman province of Cilicia, AD 120. Two Carthaginian sisters, Lea and Esther, are bought as slave girls by Roman tribune Marcus Valerius, who gives them as a present to proud Julia Martia, daughter of the proconsul. Ambitious, greedy and vindictive, Julia is betrothed to the cynical Flavius Metellus, a member of the Senate, but in fact she is in love with Marcus. However, he prefers the simple sweetness of Lea, which drives Julia to cruelty and revenge. The proconsul is murdered by Flavius Metellus who becomes his successor. Believing the Christians were responsible for her father's death, Julia, now the new proconsul's wife, orders the persecutions to begin. Marcus is ordered to carry out the campaign, but faced with the courage and faith of the Christians he realizes they are innocent. He is arrested after being betrayed by a shepherd and joins the two sisters in the dungeons. Lea is tortured and blinded after refusing to divulge the hiding place of the remaining Christians. Marcus and the others are sentenced to death, but his men free him in time to prevent the Christians being burned alive. In the bloody battle that follows Julia and her husband are killed and the Christians are liberated. Marcus, now also a Christian, is proclaimed the new proconsul and takes Lea as his wife.
